Draining Neale Park

Hockey players had a pretty wet time on Neale Park last year, so much so that the city council decided that something drastic would have to be done to eradicate the surface water nuisance created every time it rained. The sub soil at Neale Park, reticulated land, is mostly clay and the water cannot get away. To overcome this problem the playing areas have been trenched to a main. A new surface will have to be formed.
