Safety Exhibition
Every year many hundreds of valuable man-hours are lost to industry through industrial accidents, many of which could have been prevented if regard had been given to a little care and attention to safety. To stress safety in all walks of life, the Department of Labour staged an industrial safety exhibition at Motueka and Nelson. A comprehensive display of safe equipment and accident prevention methods filled the hall at Kelson and aroused considerable interest.
