The Scots Have A Ball

Sprigs of heather, clan tartans, kilts and sporrans, haggis and whisky (one bottle which went with the haggis, whether empty or full we never found out). These, with a hall-full of happy people, were the ingredients which combined to make the annual ball of the City of Nelson Highland Pipe Band one of the most successful on record.

Former band members, Gavin Craw and Brian Waugh came back to Nelson for the ball, Gavin bringing Loraine Armon, Christchurch Ladies H. P. B. with him.
