Bogged Down
Kerry Williams added to his long list of successes earlier in the month when he won the Nelson Harrier Club's senior title. The course, of six miles and a quarter, was over hilly country at "Oaklands", Saxton's Road, Stoke. For much of the journey the harriers were over ankle-deep in slush and many succumbed to it. Williams, however, looking as fit when he finished as when he started, gave neither bog nor competitors a chance, taking the lead from the outset and keeping it.
