"Invitation to the Chateau"
To David MacKenzie and the cast of "Invitation to the Chateau", we extend a large and sincere "bravo". Waimea College has established an excellent reputation for the quality of its plays, and this was in no way lowered by its latest production. Those fortunate enough to have seen it, will, we are sure, agree with us.
The Cast: Joshua the butler (Ian Cameron), Messerschmann the Melancholy millionaire (Paul Nicholson), Patrice (Alastair McCarthy), Lady India (Frances Christian), Diana Messerschmann (Maureen Cooper), Hugo and Frederic (John Marshall), Isabelle the dancer (Lyn Wiren), Isabelle's mother (Sue Boys), Romainville (Bruce Martin), Madame Mesmermortes (Catherine Mackenzie) and Capulat (Joyce Blake).
