The Nelson Y.M.C.A. baby photo contest 1 ended last month in a shower of penny votes, Brian Lloyd, son of Mr and Mrs A. Lloyd, Mt.Pleasant Ave., Nelson, was first. Cushla O'Connor, Stoke, was second, and Charles Emms third. The contest, quite a big and venturesome project for the Y.M., paid off, a profit of about £750 being made. The picture on this page, of course, is baby Nelson, Brian Lloyd.
