Young Boxers Display Fistic Skills
The supporting bouts to the main contest, at a recent tournament staged by the Nelson Boxing Association, contained a deal more excitement than the main fight. In the feature bout, Les Rackley, of Nelson, beat Jim Barnes, Canterbury, in a clinch-filled contest. Barnes would not stand off and box and continually moved in on Rackley, negating any chance of a free flowing fight.
