Mac Macfarlane slams back a return during the Nelson table tennis champs
A 40ft shipping container, owned by the Columbus Line, was used to transport 17 tons of fungicide to the Nelson firm of Ivory Spray Chemicals. The container was shipped to Wellington on the "Columbus America" and trucked to Nelson. Above—Jim Irvine. Ivory's factory manager, leads the final stage of unloading. Below–A view of the container and its contents. Transporting goods this way ensures their arrival in good condition and facilitates less handling.
