Central Districts Trounced By Canterbury
Canterbury scored a nine-wicket victory over Central Districts in their Plunket Shield cricket match at Trafalgar Park. Highlights of the match were Richard Hadlee's hat trick for Canterbury; C. Bull's unbeaten 115 for Canterbury, and a fine 85 for Central Districts by Mike Shrimpton, in their first innings. Canterbury scored 432/6 declared and 1/5, and Central Districts scored 247 and 189.
