Meet Maureen, Pastoral Queen
Maureen Marston, 22, is the pride of the Tapawera District High School. For you see, Maureen is Nelson's 1971 Pastoral Queen and on 17 April will be contesting the regional final at Grey mouth.
Popular with the children, fellow teachers and Prosser (he'sa goat), Maureen should impress the judges at Greymouth. She's a keen horsewoman and owns three horses and is a regular competitor in shows. Best of luck in Greymouth, Maureen.
