Nelson St John is seeking another $3,000 for a fully equipped ambulance vehicle to tow this mobile unit, shown here at the air pageant. The superintendent of Nelson St John, Ken Watts, said it would cost about $5,000 to buy, equip and house such a vehicle. $2,000 is in hand. Mrs M. Berry, 59 Tukuka Street, secretary of the St John Association, will gladly channel any contributions to the fund. Right-Ken Watts receives $120 from president of the Tasman Stock Car Club, Dave McCall.

The Nelson Golf Club has an apprentice professional, Kit Maling, right, who is under the tender care of Jim Morgan. Kit said he would like to eventually play the circuit and then take up teaching. Give him the drum, Jim!
