The Tourist Dollar
When the Nelson "Tourist Dollar" project opened in Nelson recently, Mr Varian J.Wilson, a Christchurch coin collector, was on hand to buy up $230 worth of the Nelson notes for distribution to collectors all over the world. Mr Wilson is seen here (centre) with Public Relations Officer Sean O'Hagan and office assistant, Rona Johnson, Piled up behind them are notes worth several thousand dollars.

Working Bee
During the summer members of the archery club are hard at it indulging in their summer pastime. Comes the winter and they're still hard at it, preparing next season's targets. At work here are Valerie Austin, George Austin, Roger Mortimer, Flo Mortimer (on the paint brush), Stan Mortimer, Paul Wulff and Michael Shaw.
