Murray West is another Gisborne dancer who has had considerable success at outside competitions. At the Te Aroha and Rotorua Festivals he won five events and was placed in three others.

At the 19th annual general meeting of the Gisborne branch of the N, Z. Home Servicemen's Association, the president and the secretary-treasurer were re-elected. They are pictured with the area 7 councillor, Mr H. S. Menzies, who travelled from Woodville to attend the meeting. From left: Mr R. A.
