Miss Antoinette Louise Moleta, daughter of Mr and Mrs D. Moleta, Russell Street, who made her debut at the Sacred Heart Ball at the Majestic Cabaret in Wellington.

Prudence Nalder, who gained five first places and several minor placings at the Te Aroha Competitions Festival recently. She is pictured with her trophies, medals and certificates.

Murray West is another Gisborne dancer who has had considerable success at outside competitions. At the Te Aroha and Rotorua Festivals he won five events and was placed in three others.

At the 19th annual general meeting of the Gisborne branch of the N, Z. Home Servicemen's Association, the president and the secretary-treasurer were re-elected. They are pictured with the area 7 councillor, Mr H. S. Menzies, who travelled from Woodville to attend the meeting. From left: Mr R. A. Gordon, secretary-treasurer, who is in 9th year of office, Mr Menzies, and Mr C. S. Deverell who is now serving his tenth year as president.
