Car Club Capers

For their Christmas "do", members of the Gisborne Car Club turned up in force for a trial run organised by a committee of lady members.

The catch was that they had to come dressed to represent a song, and at one stage of the journey they also had to sing the song they represented.

We're not sure what all the songs are that these pictures are meant to suggest, but the costumes were certainly original compositions.

Tom Lange took first prize for his real dinkum swaggie get-up.
