Muscle Men At Play

A large and responsive crowd were treated to an exciting afternoon's entertainment when 925 pounds of muscle and bone tangled in the ring at Waikanae Beach recently.

The occasion was the beach carnival's tag wrestling in which teams representing New Zealand and Poland were competing.

N.Z. heavyweight tag wrestling champ, Allan Hobman, captured the crowd as he continued to deal justice to his villainous opposites, who it appeared, were out to win at all costs. The match however resulted in a draw.
