With a message to her many friends in Gisborne, Aunt Daisy (Mrs Elliott) sends this recent photograph of herself playing at a concert in the Brisbane City Hall, given for the old folk of Brisbane. Even before Christmas, Aunt Daisy had received over 80 cards from Gisborne, many of them asking when she will be returning. In her letter she says she hopes to come to Gisborne for a holiday this year. Her address is 48 Thomas St. West End, Brisbane.

Another Gisborne wanderer who has returned to N.Z. after nine years in South East Asia is Peter McArtney, who is taking up a position with the head office of his firm, the N.Z. Insurance Co. Ltd., at Auckland. He is married, with two children, and is seen here in Hong Kong, where he was stationed for 18 months.

On behalf of Lincoln Industries, manufacturers of toys, Santa Claus and the Gisborne PRO, Mr David Clarke, congratulate Penelope Skyrne at a function at Adairs, Penelope won Lincoln's NZ-wide Christmas competition, received a transistor radio, a bicycle, binoculars, and other prizes.
