These handsome fellows are two of a litter of eight German Sheepdogs raised by Mr and Mrs E. Harrison, of 98 Stanley Road, who are the only breeders of this type in Gisborne city. When this picture was taken the pups were six weeks of age. Real thoroughbreds they are. Daddy was Baron of Dublynne and mum was lonabelle Kersey.

The two children of Mr and Mrs J. A. Ellis, Albert Street, who won the "double" at the Tauranga Baby Contest over the holidays. Last year Sally (right) won the 6-12 months class, and this year Catherine (at left) repeated the win, in competition with 80 other entrants.
