New Citizens

Twenty-three Gisborne residents became full New Zealanders at a ceremony in the City Council Chambers towards the end of last year. Their oaths of allegiance to the Crown, and loyalty to their adopted country, were taken by His Worship the Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker.
