The daughters of Mr and Mrs C. F. Carter, of Russell Street, are getting about these days. At left is Miss Beverley Carter, who is nursing at Meekatharra District Hospital, Western Australia, and connected with the Flying Doctor scheme in that state. At right is her sister, Mrs J. M. Rudge and little Amanda Rudge, having fun in the snow in the Austrian Tyrol.

Mrs Earl Nikora, nee Collier, now of Te Kuiti and formerly of Tokomaru Bay, is pictured here with her husband and daughter Jenny. Earl was last year's N. Z. amateur middleweight champion and has now turned professional.

On the cover of last month's magazine we featured Angela Stratton as "the youngest competitor in the recent competitions". Seems this is not right, and here is youngest of them all...little Ann Rennie, daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Rennie, Massey Road.
Ann, then 2¾ years of age, was placed third equal with her brother (also pictured) in the Under 8 Song Section.

Miss Mary Sloan, daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Sloan, 382 Palmerston Road, who left last month on a working holiday in England. She will be away about two years.
