The Players in Gisborne

When the N.Z. Players were last in Gisborne with their production of "Romanoff and Juliet", Gisborne member of the company Patricia Dallas, took the opportunity to show producer Mr Stafford Byrne and his actress wife, Barbara Leake, the sights of her home town.

Naturally the tour had to take in Kaiti Hill, and here the two visitors would happily have spent the afternoon.

Recently back from England, Mr Byrne (a West Coaster) said he had seen nothing to compare with the view from the Lookout, also insisted on climbing over to view the bay and Young Nicks Head.

Patricia Dallas has recently heard of her selection for a main role in the Players' next production.
