A transformation has taken place in Lytton Road since the new bridge across the Tarnheru was opened. The road has been re-levelled and brought up to standard for sealing, with sidechannels and a concrete footpath. The road now carries a large volume of traffic using what is now the only motor-traffic bridge in the city crossing the Taruheru.
