Young Nick's Head across the bay is a vivid part of the memory of all Gisborne exiles and indeed of most visitors to Poverty Bay. This excellent photograph of the head was taken from a launch by Sholto Matthews, Matawhero, and qualifies for a three months' subscription to "Photo News".
