MARDI GRAS

Churchill Park was the new venue for the Gisborne Mardi Gras. Admission was by a Gold Coin Donation in keeping with the Pirate Theme. There were lots of interesting stalls. Live entertainment was provided both on stage and by street performers. Most amusing were the cardboard cup races, and helicopter rides available for the more adventurous. All proceeds to local charities.
