TE KARAKA BALL

The recently held Te Karaka Ball was inspired when a parent, on seeing how smart the College kids looked when dressed for the College Ball, knew it would be appropriate for the adults too. Why not indeed. A Ball Committee of 7 was quickly set up and 8 weeks later the result - a night to remember at the Rangatira Tavern. The bar, decorated (by willing hands) with fern fronds, flowers and floating balloons, enticed the patrons to dance the night away in good company to the live music of Rainbow Rhythms from Whakatane.
