Suntopia
Suntopia was a Celebration of Summer Fashion raising funds for the Awapuni Under 5's Community Preschool featuring Collections by Elite Chic, Milly Molly, Action Surfwear, Sun Skins & Souxskins. M.C. David Baty pointed out that more than 75% of the gear shown was designed & manufactured in Gisborne. A full house at Lawson Field Theatre thoroughly enjoyed the evening which was broken into 5 sections: Passage to India, Caribbean-Calypso, Open Spaces, Frog Attack & Suntopia ably supported by D.J. Stuart Dwight.
