LYTTON HIGH SCHOOL
nonoichi visit

19 Lytton High students, prior to their visit to Gisborne's sister city Nonoichi, met in the Home Economics room to receive the blessings of the school's community. The students had worked in their school holidays to make gifts to present to their hosts. The tonga were on display including hand made writing portfolios, Japanese stick games, hats weaved out of flax, and silk scarves & hankies painted with their own designs. The students were acompanied by 4 caregivers and 4 teachers on a 12 day visit of a lifetime.
