The winners of the Mercantile Swimming Relay held in conjunction with the Midwinter Swim at the Olympic Pool were the Fisher Aluminium Team. Lester Traue was proud of his grandchildren who made up his team. The relay was held in the "warm pool" under the new all weather enclosure where it proved to be nicer in the water than out. Doug Bell, local Vice President of IHC presented the Fisher Team the new Mecantile Cup & each team member with a small personal gift, a certificate & vouchers from McDonalds & Georgie Pie. From the left: Doug Bell, Glen Hoffman, Jonathon Herries, Lester Traue & Aimee Findon.
