NZ PONY CLUB TEAMS HORSE
TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIPS

91 rders participated in a 2 Day Event of Dressage, Cross Country & Show Jumping in two Divisions, The Dorothy Campbell for those under 17yrs and the A1 (17-21 yrs). 5 years of preparation and a lot of hard work by committee went into this prestegious competition. The challenging Cross Country course was designed by Jennifer Millar (B.O.P.) & built by Geoff Tombleson (Murawai) & volunteers on the Poverty Bay A & P Show grounds and the adjacent property of Mr George Parker. The Gisborne Wairoa Team gave an excellent performance due to the experience of Manager/Trainer Merran Hain finishing 13th overall.
