The Competitions

More entries than ever before gave an added stimulus to the Gisborne Competitions Society's 38th annual festival. The Society had to add an extra day's judging to cope with the record influx of visitors.

And the festival was voted a big success, from the point of view of competitors, officials, and the public too.

Pictured on these pages are championship, scholarship, and special prize winners for whom photographs were available.
