Christmas Parade

Both sides of Gladstone Road were packed with locals for the annual Christmas Parade where the floats get better and the children get closer to disappearing under one. Awapuni Under 5s Community Pre-school had the top entry out of 45 receiving $700 for their months of effort, with the Cancer Society second and St John Youth Division third. Organised by the Gisborne Retailers Association in conjunction with 2ZG, the parade set the scene for the festive season.
