7 Gisborne Health Camp children went to Turakina near Wanganui for the unveiling of a monument commemorating the first Children's Health Camp. They camped out in tents & re-enacted scenes from those early days of 1919. Their highlight was a luncheon with the Gov General, Dame Kath Tizard. The children & healthcare workers Mary Croskery (wearing sunglasses) & Adelle Ensor are: Aaron Bingham, Richard Brown, Te Whitu King, Jared King, Matthew Proffitt, Sean Williams & Matthew Wharehinga.
