The Blackpool Scholarship was founded in 1971 as a parting guesture by the soon to be scrapped Naval Destroyer Blackpool. It is a 3 year grant to a student to assist with costs while at University. The 1994 winner is Natasha Mitchell who will attend Victoria University in Wgtn.
