Yachting
Right: With the creation of the GBHS Yacht Club in 1993 & their right to contest the Epiglass Inter-Secondary Nationals as the East Cape reps that year, interest was stimulated in yachting. With students raising funds and time and expertise generously given by the Gisborne Yacht Club, it is a fine example of a community getting behind its young people to further embellish the attractions & spirit of the East Cape
