NATIONAL MARIST SOCCER TOURNAMENT
26 teams affiliated to N Z Marist Soccer converged on Gisborne for the National Tournament. Gisborne Marist, with 4 teams entered, had great results. Marist 1sts were beaten in a Div.1 Semi Final by Napier. The 2nds won the Div.2 Final over Gisborne Presidents with the Presidents lifting the Title as the 2nds were ineligible because of too many "imports" in the team. The Gisborne Ladies won the Ladies Divion.
