Wairoa Netballers
Coronets Green netball team made the trip up from Wairoa to participate in the annual Kathleen Henderson Memorial Tournament at the Poverty Bay netball courts. Many teams travel from the Wairoa, Nuhaka, Mahia area to play sport in Gisborne and they are encouraged by a strong band of supporters who make the trek north and give plenty of vocal support.
The Coronets Green team who played in B grade at the tournament were (L to R): Coach Rose Tamati, Alexia Burton, Natasha Hay, Marise Roberts (Manager), Mama Taingiora, Rita Ross (Captain), Gina Rewi, Cheryl TeAmo and Raelene Taingiora.
