SURF CITY
ROD & CUSTOM CLUB

The Surf City Rod & Custom Club Has been in operation for approximately 22 years and still going strong. With 35 active members at present the club has just finished building new club rooms in the industrial subdivision, funded & built by club members. They held a rod show at the Avis depot in Gladstone road, where Manager Phil Newdick chose Julie Mence as his choice for her 1938 Cheve. The event was sponsored by AVIS.
