CULINARY DELIGHT

Fourteen students completing a full-time 12 week Quantity Cookery Course at Tairawhiti Polytecnic, put all their skills into practice recently when they catered for 200 people at the Fit Food luncheons organised by the Cancer Society. Given recipes selected from the Fit Food cookbooks, organising themselves to be ready on time and providing sufficient for such a large number was a real challenge met with plenty of enthusiasm and delicious results. The students designed and made their own uniforms as well as working towards their Institutional Training Advisory Committee Certificate.
