John & Everlyn Pattie received a gift donation for the Gisborne East Coast Division of the Arthritis Foundation from Freda & Norm Shann on behalf of the Old Time Dance Group who meet at the St Andrews Hall to enjoy the music of a band, taking their chances with raffles & dancing the Monte Carlo.

Some of the more than 100 competitors from Gisborne who entered to run in the Fletcher Marathon held annually on the "around the lake" course at Rotorua. All were looking to better their "personal best" times for the distance.

A Steering Committee has begun preparing for an Ayton House Reunion for March 1995. All Gisborne based "Hostel girls " should enrol NOW to ensure the success of the event.
