Poverty Bay v Japan

It was very much a scarlet and white evening at Rugby Park when a Poverty Bay Secondary Schools' Invitation XV took on the National Secondary School team from Japan. Two players from Dannevirke and TeAute were included in the Invitation team. The two sides were evenly matched in size and ability and the final score of 17-13 to PB was an indication of just how close the game was.
