The World Firefight ers Games are held every 2 years with 3000 competitors representing 64 countries competing in many different sports. Local firemen Mike Lister, Kevin Duley, Ian Clark, Brian Chaffey and Terry Coote attended the 3rd Games in Perth recently and returned with a handful of medals.

Brian Chaffey and Terry Coote showed the strength of the Gisborne group in the darts events with 3 Golds and a Silver to Brian and a Bronze to Terry. Well done guys and good luck in Edmonton, Canada at the 4th World Firefighters Games.
