Artists Corner
A public vote as to the most popular work at the Artist Society's Summer Exhibition held at the Museum & Art Centre determined the 1st & 2nd prizes. Pictured at a small presentation are: Everlyn Watson with her "Red Roses", Edna Ratcliffe from the Artist Society, Ken Athy & "A Girl in the Garden" which won 1st prize with the major sponsors of the exhibition Katheryn and Vaughan Gillard of Personality Picture Framers.
Retrospective 30 would describe Graeme Mudge's recent display of 30 years of his art at the Museum & Art Centre. Pictured with the Cézannes of Gisborne's modern art are his past pupils and current art teachers: Daryl File, Steve Gibbs, Richard Rogers, Graeme (the man of the moment) and Dick Calcott.
