POVERTY BAY V WAIKATO

The mighty Waikato team, hold ers of the Ranfurly Shield and 1st Division Champions was Lion Brown Poverty Bay's first game of the 1994 season and the Bay showed they will be a force to be reckoned with in 3rd Division this year. There were plenty of happy spectators at the end of a thoroughly enjoyable game with Waikato the winners 42-8.
