Strength, stamina and good teamwork are essential ingredients for success in the eight demanding events which make up the Fire Brigade competitions. All events are based on situations firefighters could face at a blaze. The Wairoa A team scooped the pool winning 4 of the events and taking home the title and several other trophies.
