Mardi Gras

Thousands turned out on New Year's Day for the Mardi Gras at the wharf Stalls, buskers, entertainers, refreshments, the America's Cardboard Cup races and great weather combined to produce a festive afternoon for all.

Roger Hansard, winner of the America's Cardboard Cup, took the choppy sea and windy conditions with a grain of salt.
