ODYSSEY'S END TRIATHLON

The challenge was to swim 1500m, cycle 40 kilometres and run 10 kilometres for the 119 individual competitors taking part in the first Odyssey's End International Triathlon. 37 teams of 3 also completed one of the best organised and run triathlons ever held in New Zealand in typical brilliant Gisborne sunshine.
