A walk, which was part of the District Council & Tairawhiti Area Health Board Healthy Communities Project, to Ngatapa Pa was organised by Jo Gillanders, coordinated by Nisbet Smith with Sheila Robinson (Historian) and Pam Bain (Archaeologist) Ngatapa Pa is a historic site as it was where one of the major battles between Te Kooti and the Government Forces was fought. Pictured above are the walkers on the pa site with Rere at the bottom of the valley.

Fellow of the RNZAF Museum
An award which honours and aknowledges selected Individuals who have made significant personal contributions to the development of the RNZAF Museum was presented to a Gisborne man. Commmunity Donation
The Victoria League organised a Garden Party to raise fundswith half of the proceeds of the function were donated to Dunblane Centre.
