DOG TRIALS
Bill Teutenberg and Stan Smith organised the first dogtrial held under cover in the district. The Riding Club for the Disabled headquarters was an ideal venue and they received all the proceeds. With the Hinenui sheep working well and a most successful days trialing behind them, the organisers are considering making it an annual event.
