GISBORNE CITY PRIZE GIVING

Gisborne City Sports Club held their end of the Soccer Season Prize Giving after a successful year of competition. The 1st Team playing in the Bluebird Premier League provided Gisborne the chance to see some of the countries best soccer players. The 2nds won the Eastern League Div.1 Shield and the Percy Bailey Cup while the 3rd Team won the Eastern League Div.2

Jimmy Cudd was Player of the Year. At 18 he has the skills and potential to change the fortunes of a game.

Club Chairman John Dwight presented Dorothy McCullough with the Clubperson of the Year Trophy.

Geoff Logan sponsor of The Gisborne Gold City Team with team mate Dave Harrison and 1st Team Goalie and Boys High student Ross Nicholson who has impressed N Z Selectors.
