David James Pianist

David James is one of Gis borne's most successful sons and certainly the most recent celebrated concert pianist to play in the War Memorial Theatre. His ability to draw the audience into the music was memorable. Ian Dunsmore, Patron of the Competitions Society in Gisborne, John Clarke, Mayor of Gisborne and Helen Twisleton, President of the Gisborne Competition Society presented David with a large photo of Gisborne and Poverty Bay which David said would take pride of place in his New York appartment.
