Palliative Care

Medical Director of Palliative Care Service Dr James Carstens spoke to more than 50 volunteers in the Boardroom of the Gisborne Hospital. He praised them for the vital part they played in the care of people. "People need people." Honoured at the meeting were Helen Tombleson (Head of Volunteers) Margaret Fenn (Vol. Co-ordinator) Marilyn Baty (Ed. Co-ordinator) and Dr James Carstens.
